Across most Local Government Areas in Melbourne, both 3 and 4 year old kindergarten applications are via a central enrolment process managed by the local council. More information about our ECMS kindergartens can be found at www.ecms.org.au/all-ecms-kindergartens. Here you can access all individual ECMS kindergarten pages which also contain a link to either the council registration process / form, or in some instances, a direct ECMS enrolment form.
Please remember if your child is enrolled in 3-year-old kindergarten this year, they will not be automatically enrolled in 4-year-old kindergarten for 2025.
We strongly recommend checking your local council link for kindergarten enrolment and other relevant information, as registration will either be open now or commencing soon.
Please note that Hobsons Bay City Council and Maribyrnong City Council will waive registration fees for Kindergarten and Long Day Care Services this year to reduce barriers for families registering their children in kindergarten and long day care services.
