The highly regarded honour was announced on the 9th of November 2023 at this year’s Victorian Government’s Early Years Awards.  The Victorian Early Years Awards celebrate educators improving the health, development and wellbeing of Victorian children and their families.  We’re especially honoured to win this category, and for our coaching initiative for ECMS early childhood educators to be recognised at such a high level.  Professor Tayler was a trusted advisor to both the Victorian and federal education departments. Her work influenced and raised standards and the direction of early childhood education and care reform, across Australia.  Since the inception of our coaching program in 2019, our practice has strived to do just this. We’ve modelled a way of being and doing through intentional deep listening, reflection and review. The impact of this practice is reflected in our outstanding National Quality Standard ratings, with 62% of our centres rated as over double the national average.  Congratulations to our ECE team whose dedication and brilliance lies at the heart of this wonderful achievement. Congratulations also to our fellow nominees; together we’re building on Professor Tayler’s important work and improving outcomes for Victorian children, their families and communities. ## Read On [![](https://blogs.ecms.org.au/hs-fs/hubfs/ECM_SHOOT1_LOWRES_@MAXROUX-21.jpg?width=352&name=ECM_SHOOT1_LOWRES_@MAXROUX-21.jpg)](https://blogs.ecms.org.au/blog/victorian-government-introduces-early-childhood-education-portfolio) ### [Victorian Government introduces early childhood education portfolio](https://blogs.ecms.org.au/blog/victorian-government-introduces-early-childhood-education-portfolio) ECMS is pleased with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews' announcement today about the introduction of...
